What days and times are you open? We are open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 6pm, except for Christmas and Easter. We are not open for holidays that land on Mondays (i.e. Labor Day or Memorial Day).
Is there a charge for admission or parking? All of our stores offer free parking. Admission is free at all of our locations, except for the Central Phoenix location, which is $1 for adults. Active military personnel with proper identification receive free admission. Seniors receive free admission on Fridays.
Do you have wheelchairs and shopping carts available? Most of our sites have a limited number of wheelchairs available. We do not, however, have shopping carts.
Is my pet welcome? Yes, pets are welcome, as long as they are friendly and remain on a leash or in a carrier. Please be responsible and clean-up after your pet, and keep in mind that we reserve the right to ask that pets be removed from the premises if they are causing a disturbance.
How can I get in touch with a particular merchant? If the merchant is a current occupant at one of our locations, you can either call 480.265.9595, email info@theswapsmart.com, or submit a message thru our Contact Us page, and we will pass the inquiry along as quickly as possible. If the merchant is no longer a current occupant, we will do the best we can to pass along the message, but no promises...sorry!

Do I have to sign a long term lease? No, all of our agreements are month-to-month, but we require payment first and last months' rent at the time of signing and for merchants to provide a 30 day notice prior to departure.
Do I need to have good credit? No, we do not run credit checks, nor do we ask for any personal credit information. All rental periods are prepaid, so we have no need for this information.
Can I rent by the day or weekend? Only our Central Phoenix location permits daily/weekend rentals, unless you're participating in a special event. For special events, visit our Calendar
What type of licenses do I need? In general, most retailers will require a city sales tax permit and a state sales tax permit. If you sell food, you will also need a county food permit. If you sell secondhand items, you will need a secondhand dealers permit. This is not a comprehensive list of the licenses/permits you may need. Seek professional/legal counsel if you are unsure.
Are there restrictions on what I can sell? Restrictions vary by location. In general, however, we do not allow the sale of paraphenalia or other drug related items, pornograhpic items, or firearms. We are also selective about used products and require merchants who sell used products to be focused on specific niches of products; for example, used books, clothes, antiques, collectibles, etc. With the exception of our Central Phoenix location, we do not rent spaces for garage sales.
